Recognising the high demand for church candles, Charles crafted his first beeswax candles for St Ethelburga’s church, quickly earning acclaim for their exceptional quality. By the early 1900s, his candles adorned churches across the city, establishing Charles Farris as London’s premier candle-maker. Today, Charles Farris holds a Royal Warrant from HM Queen Elizabeth II and supplies candles to prestigious institutions like Westminster Abbey.
